We Will Speak Again

This is a song John wrote about the little man who seems to have lost his voice in the world. A man who has been pushed into a corner by many people and situations but is on the threshhold of finding that he does have the power to "speak again."

We Will Speak Again (lyrics)
Little man gets pushed around, like it's always been
Little man never makes much sound
Cause he's working with his hands...working with his hands
He's working with his hands

Rich old white man on TV, flapping at the jaw
Rich old white man, needs you and me
Just to keep a pretty lawn, keep a pretty lawn
Just to keep a pretty lawn

(CHORUS)
How come it's always the very few
Who keep on speaking for me and you?
Well it's gonna change real soon
Cause we will speak again, we are the little man,
And we will speak again

Rich old preacher man on TV, flapping at the jaw
Rich old preacher man telling you and me
What my God will allow... what my God will allow
What my God will allow

(CHORUS)

They own the airwaves, the left and the right
Cause the middle don't raise much hell
They run the airwaves, so they can fight
Over anything they can sell..... anything they can sell
Anything they can sell

Little man gets pushed around, like it's always been
Little man don't make much sound
Cause he's working with his hands, working with his hands
He's working with his hands

(CHORUS)

We've been quiet too long, but
We're gonna speak again
